A new year, a new career.

Or more precisely, an apprenticeship in the flourishing electronic security industry, with Justice Fire & Security in the Birmingham catchment area.

With demand for our products and services continuing to grow, we are keen to find new young recruits who would like to join our highly successful apprenticeship programme.

Founded over 35 years ago, today, we’re one of the most respected fire and security companies of its kind in the West Midlands, servicing a comprehensive commercial and residential client base, typically within a 50-mile radius of our head office in Castle Vale, Birmingham.

With the advancement of technology in our field of surveillance and security, now is a great time to become part of this industry.

Over the years, our proven apprenticeship programme has benefitted many a budding young engineer. Run in conjunction with skills for security, the UK’s leading apprenticeship training provider for the Electronic Fire & Security, the training will take you to the status of a Level 3 Fire, Emergency and Security Systems Technician, in just 36 months.

This will incorporate on-the-job, supervised training within our company, as well as block release at college one week in approximately every ten. These industry-recognised programmes are designed to equip applicants with the skills and knowledge to develop rewarding careers.

Indeed, the vast majority of our apprentices have remained with Justice Fire & Security long after their training has been completed, with the average length of employment across the business now running at 12.5 years.

The basis of this staff loyalty is down to the fact that we offer great career progression, so much so that a number of our apprentices have gone on to enjoy highly successful sales and management roles within the company. One day, it could be you too!

Electronic Security Is a Growing Market

Arguably, there has never been a better time to join the electronic security industry. Overall, the UK security industry is worth an estimated £12 billion and is projected to grow at a rate of 8% per year until 2026. This is hardly surprising, given the general demand for security products including CCTV systems and access control, all linked to the increasing crime threat.

What was once all about door locks and hardware is now a highly technical and sophisticated sector, which makes it all the more exciting. Our work incorporates security systems installation, configuration, networking, maintenance and project management.

Innovative systems manufacturers are heavily involved in R&D, continually looking towards product advancement, with Justice Fire & Security being in the advantageous position of working with some of the world leaders in the field.

From large office blocks to warehouses, schools, retail premises, sprawling mansions and starter home security, our range of products and expertise can be tailored to suit all needs - and from a job perspective, it makes fascinating work. No two days are ever the same. It’s interesting and challenging in equal measure.

“Our philosophy has always been based on delivering a high quality, professional service which has created a long-standing and loyal customer base.” Explained Managing Director and company founder, Dave Sanders. “At the same time, we have made it a top priority to invest in our staff, to ensure that everyone has access to the best training and knowledge, plus the opportunity to build a rewarding career, in a positive, friendly work environment where there are many attractive staff benefits.”

Dave added, “These apprenticeship positions don’t come around that often, so my advice to anyone who is keen to make their mark, would be to seize the opportunity whilst there is availability.”
